We had a very good weekend together, beginning with our men’s curry night on Friday night and then through to our services on Sunday. It was great to observe the Lord’s Supper together and to eat lunch together at our monthly Bring and Share (usually the 3rd Sunday of the month).
This Saturday 11am, if the weather is not too wet or cold, we are going to leaflet a bunch of homes in our community. If you are free, will you please come and help us? We will go out for about an hour, and the more help we have the more quickly we can distribute the leaflets.
This Sunday, we continue on in our study through the book of Philippians looking at chapter 2, verses 12-16. If for some reason, you miss or did not hear the sermon, you can always go back and listen on our website or podcast.
Also, on Sunday afternoon, we will have a Safeguarding training session that should end about 2.15pm. This is a legal requirement for all of those volunteers who work with children and young people, so please plan to be there if at all possible. There will be a few refreshments, but you might want to bring a sandwich or something to eat.
