We had a great weekend with our couples’ meal on Saturday night. Thanks to everyone who helped with it and attended. It was a lot of fun, and I believe our marriages are stronger because of what we learned. Pastor Ian Burbridge did a great job teaching, and it was very good to have friends from Crossroads Baptist join us again this year.
On Sunday, we continued our study in the book of Philippians looking at ‘Citizens of Heaven.’ In the afternoon, we had a Question and Answer session which is always a fun challenge.
This coming Sunday, Pastor Chris will be preaching from Philippians 4, and I am sure it will be a blessing. Also, there will be Bring and Share lunch after the service to which everyone is welcome.
Also, if you don’t already attend a small group Bible study on Sundays at 10.30am, we encourage you to come. There are groups for children, teens, and adults. The groups are a great time to encourage one another, study the Bible, ask questions, and go deeper into God’s Word.
I have started sending out devotions that I write each day via my blog. If you would like to receive those in your inbox each morning, you can sign up here.
Our church is registered for gift aid, so if you are UK taxpayer and would like to claim back the tax you have paid on your donations, please be sure to complete a gift aid declaration and return to Irene Ige.
